Our Story
Tim and I met in the summer of 2020 on a dating app believe it or not! Neither one of us had spent much time on them before but both of our friends pushed us to give it a try. Thank goodness we did because it allowed me to meet my best friend, soul mate, and who would eventually become by life partner. My immediate thought was... "why in the world is this Ohio boy living in Miami", and me living in Ohio for a year knew we had to have mutual friends. We started connecting about Columbus, OH, who all we knew, and how thank goodness we didn't have to endure winters there anymore but we did miss of course Local Cantina queso (if you haven't had it... you gotta go). We clicked immediately and we both knew with in a few weeks that this was going to be special. The moment I knew Tim would fit in perfect with my family was the first weekend he met my parents. For those of you who know my family, you know the affinity we have for football. Well Tim also grew up playing, living, eating, and breathing football and even played in college for a little bit prior to an injury so I KNEW this would turn out well meeting the fam.. except for the fact Tim went to Ohio State & dad is an SEC ride or die (sorry dad!). One funny story, the first weekend meeting my family Tim snuck out front and put a huge scarlet and grey Ohio State flag on our flag pole on the front of our house! It was there a whole day before anyone noticed and needless to say my dad was NOT happy! Actually he thought it was hilarious and we all knew moving forward that he would fit right in (and that all pranks there forward were fair game!). Here we are 3 years, 3 apartments, 1 house, 1 new car, 2 new jobs, and 1 more dog later on our way to be husband and wife. We have both been blessed with amazing people in our lives, and we cannot wait to bring everyone together to celebrate!
